Announcing the Seattle Kraken's inaugural season without any in-game footage or a public facing roster of players posed a unique challenge for this piece. Jared's edit finds unique opportunities to cut and composite original underwater footage, stock assets, sound design, and graphics. The final piece evokes a sense of suspense and excitement, and gives Seattle fans something to believe in. A tentacled monster of legend, capable of capsizing ships and beating sh*t out of opposing hockey teams.
